A modern take on a Romantic-era vase. Hand painted professional grade stoneware with underglaze and slip-trailed details. Edged with cherub detail. Finished with transparent glaze.
This piece is made from a professional grade white stoneware clay fired to 1250C. After a bisque fire, decoration was hand painted in a loose style with underglaze, finished with a transparent glossy glaze and fired for a second time.
Approximate size: 20.5cm x 15.5cm x 6cm
Weight: 1008g
This art piece is completely unique and has all of its own curves and bulges and perfect imperfections.
Please note: wipe clean and never place into a dishwasher
Design
Inspired and informed by traditional ceramic shapes, but slab, pinch or coil-built to create a modern take on a traditional vessel. Each piece is handmade and bisque-fired, then decorated with loose paintings on each piece to create an original work of art.
The illustrations are inspired by all sorts, including racy scenes on popular TV .
