Hand built tricket plate with slip trailing decoration and hand-painted underglaze details. Finished with a gloss glaze. Completely one of a kind.

The chair on this piece is a response to the work of the Blasket Painter, An File Micheál Ó Gaoithín.

This piece is made from a professional grade white stoneware clay fired to 1250C. After a bisque fire, decoration was hand painted in a loose style with underglaze, finished with a transparent glossy glaze and fired for a second time.
For those of us whose spirit animal is cow.

Approximate size: 12.5cm

This art piece is completely unique and has all of its own curves and bulges and perfect imperfections.

Please note: Best not to put in dishwasher. It will likely be grand but handwash is best.

Design
Inspired and informed by traditional ceramic shapes, but slab, pinch or coil-built to create a modern take on a traditional vessel. Each piece is handmade and bisque-fired, then decorated with loose paintings on each piece to create an original work of art.
The illustrations are inspired by all sorts, including racy scenes on popular TV .
